Enjoying a round of golf will never be as rewarding as this.

To raise money for the care of the city’s war widows, Legacy is inviting golfers to get swinging at its charity golf day tomorrow at the BH Golf and Country Club.

Every year the four-person open attracts close to 100 players and keen golfer and Legacy secretary, Mark Winen, says he’s hoping they can get close to that number again.

“Hopefully we get a good roll up,” Mr Winen told the BDT.

“You don’t have to have a handicap - all golfers are welcome.”

To top the day off, entrants can enjoy refreshments on course as well as a barbecue and steak sandwiches.

Golfers are expected on course for a shotgun start at 11am.

The cost for members is $20, for non-members it is $25 and juniors can play free.

Nominations may be made through the club’s golf shop by calling 8087 9099.
