The North Bowls Club will unveil their new Irish turf bowling green to the public on Friday and everyone is invited to come and join in for a few rounds at 10.30am.

Mr White said the new green was the “thickest carpet ever laid down” by the North Bowls Club.

The latest turf renovations have amounted to a total finishing cost of $313,000 with the help of government grant funding.

NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro, Federal MP Mark Coulton and State MP Kevin Humphries will be in attendance for the opening along with National Bowls Manager for Tiger Turf, Graham Blow, and RDA Far West Regional Development director Michael Williams.

North Bowls Club director Ray White said he wanted everyone to be respectful on the day, and that under no circumstances would the club allow politics to be discussed.
