A thing of beauty

This time next week Christmas will have been and gone, but there is still time to do your last minute Christmas shopping.
Many local retailers have numerous products that would be ideal for those left on your gift list.
There are gift ideas for the arts and craft lover, Mr Fix-It or the gardener of the family, clothing and outdoor games or makeup and skincare for a well-deserved pampering at the end of a difficult year.
Willy Nilly Art Gallery Assistant, Lori Emmett said they have art supplies which range from budget prices right through to ensuring someone is fully stocked.
“We’ve got some beautiful things like wellness packs that have got an apron, chocolates, a variety of bags and things, we’ve got a lot of jewellery from Lauren and we’ve got gorgeous calendars of her little baby goats that she’s made into a calendar, along with of course Amanda Johnson’s own beautiful artworks which I think anyone would be happy to get for Christmas,” said Lori.
“The coasters always walk out the door, it helps too that we do free gift wrapping here so you can get your present and get everything done, so the coasters are nice and easy, they’re good for anyone male or female, old or young.”
“We’ve got t-shirts now and they’ve been really popular, and the bags are pretty good too. A really nice gift that people might not know about is a local girl Lauren is doing ‘All things me’ gratitude journals so it’s a use any time of day, just jot down I’m happy because or I’m grateful because or I just need a reminder that the world isn’t awful because, so yeah, they’re really good for that,” said Lori.
