Hash House Harriers

Last Wednesday's run was set by Simon Sweet and Liz Dermody from the Silverton Hotel and surprisingly a huge number of harriers turned up, even some diehards on pushbikes.

On On was called and Simon told us that the run had some good news and some bad news.

The good news was that the 2nd half of the run was all down hill, apparently not many harriers were happy with the news, but off we trekked, out through the scrub picking up Mad Max memorabilia along the way.

When we arrived back at the hotel we were greeted with a friendly smile and plenty of ice cold refreshments, which put a smile on our dial.

Our GM called hash hush and started handing out the weekly down downs. First up the hare's Simon and Liz, for a fabulous run.

Best joke went to Simon Sweet, as he and Liz served up a banquet of snags, chicken patties and salads for the healthy, but some of us just had another coldie.

Next Wednesdays run is the Christmas run, from the Chapman Estate at 13 Doe Street.

Turn up in your reds and greens with bells on and if you've been really good, Santa might come to you.
