A grade took on South at the Alma, and skipper Codie Howard lost the toss again and the dogs had first use of the ball.
Chris Mitchell and Davin Bates opened the bowling and put in a great effort with the new ball.
South never threatened to get away and a steady stream off wickets saw the Southerners all out for 100.
Mitchell with 4/20 and Bates 2/13 bowled well and were well supported by the ever reliable Nick Pearce 1/8 off 9 overs with 5 maidens, while Howard, Mat Garrick and Jordan Vella took 1 wicket each.
North opened up with Shayne Staker and Scott Rogers and lost Staker for a 3rd ball duck. Tim Hunter joined Rogers and they got through the new ball period and put North in a strong position with a great partnership before Rogers was out for 16.
Howard joined Hunter and put on another great partnership before Howard was out for 18 chasing the double bonus point, and with balls running out,
Mitchell was elevated up the batting order and blasted North to a double bonus point victory with 15 runs coming off 5 balls, while Hunter also remained not out for a fine 48.
B grade took on Central at the Fox and bowled first with Jed Watson and a recalled Taylor Walker taking the new ball. Walker 4/13, tore through the top order with fire and venom and was well supported by Alex Pearce 2/18 and Cohen Sweet 1/17, before Jayden Kelly 2/3, cleaned up the tail with a great display of pace bowling.
Chasing 93 for their first win of the season, North opened with Walker 14 and Jamie McConnell 0. A steady stream off good partnerships saw the Bulldogs hit the winning runs in the 20th over.
Jimmy Zilliotto continued his excellent season with 35no and was well supported by David Pope 11, Sweet 8 and Watson 14.
The Bulldog Christmas party will take place at the Hack residence on the Monday, December 27, getting underway at 12midday.
