West and North recorded convincing wins in their Twenty20 matches at the Jubilee Oval on Saturday.

In the early game, West made light work of Central’s total of 6-98 off 19 overs, the Robins reaching the total in the 12th over with the loss of only Masotti (23).

Handberg top scored for West with 42 not out while Jelbert was not out 28.

Bray, Central’s only wicket taker, took 1 for 12. Earlier, Netherwood top scored for Central with 31 while Christos and King finished with two wickets each for the Robins.

In the second match, South could manage only 75 runs in response to North’s 3 for 155, with Howard top scoring with 59 not out. Nicholas, Vlatko and Hannigan finished with one wicket each.

Hannigan (28) was the stand out in a South innings which saw only three players get into double figures.

Watson did the damage for North, finishing with 4 for 7 from 2.3 overs, while Garrick, Mitchell and Victory took two wickets each.
