The Silver City Swim Club is the first local team of the blocks to display its team for this week's SA Country Championships.
The Championships start in the city tomorrow when the Silver City, Alma and Broken Hill swimming clubs take on the challengers from SA, NSW and Victoria.
Silver City Senior Captains, Jordie Kappe and Ellysia Oldsen, along with Junior Captains Kai Pressler and Indianna Paull, will lead a 50-strong team.
The event also includes a Superfish competition for juniors which will get the comp underway at the local pool tomorrow.
The Silver City team comprises members ranging in age from five years up to 43. But about half are 10 years old or younger, and this showed the depth of talent amongst the members, the club said.
