Police are searching for more bones in the Little Menindee Creek Police are searching for more bones in the Little Menindee Creek

The NSW Police Force will send divers to Menindee to search for more human bones in the Little Menindee Creek.

Barrier Local Area Crime Manager, detective Inspector Mick Stoltenberg, said yesterday the divers would conduct the search at the end of this week.

The search follows the discovery of two human bones in Little Menindee Creek since late December.

A femur bone was found by a fisherman on December 28 and a tibia bone was discovered on January 9.

"At this point in time, investigators do not have any confirmation on DNA etc of the first bone and it is expected that this will still take some time before known," Det Inspt Stoltenberg said.

Police are asking any person who may have information to assist with the investigation to contact the local station or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
