Archery Archery

On Sunday 20th February the Silver City Archers held a 2 arrow Safari shoot with both arrows counted resulting in a possible total of 800 points.

Fifteen archers made it around the rocky third range with a great Junior and Cub attendance of 9 making up most of the field. Although some scores were down on previous efforts the shooting conditions were close to perfect with only limited cloud cover and a mild breeze.

The native flora and fauna are still in abundance due to the regular rainfall making for some interesting shooting and walking between targets. Tim Mercer overcame the distractions with the best score of 580 followed by Malcolm Esling on 576 and Ron Arthur's 570 points.
