GAMES NIGHT: St John Cadets’ divisional officer Shane Webb and Cadet James Green brushing up on their knowledge for the trivia night GAMES NIGHT: St John Cadets’ divisional officer Shane Webb and Cadet James Green brushing up on their knowledge for the trivia night

The St John Ambulance's Broken Hill Cadet Division is holding a trivia night next week to raise money for a youth camp.

It is being held to help to offset the cost of hiring a bus to take 30 members to the Western Youth Camp in Bathurst.

Local cadets will spend four days at the camp which will be packed with games, activities, badge work and other St John Members from the Western Region.

The camp will also host the Regional Competitions which test the cadets' First Aid skills in a simulated exercise.

The cadets have to treat the "casualties" and the best ones will go on to represent the region at State level.

The Trivia Night will be held at the Theatre Royal Function Room on Friday, March 25. Doors open at 7pm with games starting at 7.30pm.

There will be a cash prize for the first and second teams, and a door prize of two nights' accommodation in Mildura for two people.

There will also be a silent auction. Items will include a framed Pro Hart signed print, First Aid Kits and more.

People can make teams of up to eight people, or play as a single. It will cost $10 per person to play. Supper and snacks will be provided and drinks can be purchased over the bar.

To book or receive more information contact Shane Webb on 0412 962 748 or Ian Harvey 0447 426 427.
