Aspring entertainers are being asked to nominate for this year's Eisteddfod before June 3.

Publicity officer, Merrilyn Podnar, said the organising committee was unsure as to how many people would be taking part in this year's event.

"It's very well supported but until you get the numbers in you really don't know," she said.

"We may be having some people come from Mildura for dance and instrumental."

Mrs Podnar said a range of groups from school choirs to pop stars prove popular every year with local up and coming entertainers.

"Usually the pop stars are very popular as well as dance on Saturday.

"We usually get a very good turnout of the school choirs and that when it is on the Monday."

This year's Eisteddfod runs from August 20 to 24, with dance on the 27th.

People wishing to nominate may contact Mrs Podnar on 8087 7633.
