Concerns for missing man
Wednesday, 22nd June, 2011
Darryl Robert Scott, 62, was last seen by his wife about 6.30pm on Monday when he drove off from the family home.
He has not been seen or heard from since, with the out of character circumstances prompting BH police to issue a state-wide appeal for help in locating Mr Scott.
“We have already spent quite a few man hours trying to locate Mr Scott, but without any information on where he might be it presents a difficult scenario for police,” Barrier Local Area Command Acting Super Intendent Mick Stoltenberg told the BDT last night.
“There was no domestic dispute ... the man has just driven off and not be seen or heard from since.”
Mr Scott’s white 1996 Daihatsu utility with NSW registration plates AE-62-YE has also not been located.
When he was last seen, Mr Scott was wearing blue jeans, a khaki shirt and work boots. Police have described him as being 173 centimetres tall, of stocky build with blonde/grey hair and a beard.
Anyone with information on Mr Scott’s whereabouts is urged to contact BH police via Crime Stoppers by phoning 1-800-333-000. All information will be treated in strict confidence.
