Dylan’s dash for cash

One local student has done his bit for his school by raising $1600 for sports gear.
Dylan Stone, 14, recently chased up the money for the Broken Hill High School in the Adidas School Fun-run fundraiser.
Half of the money will go to charity and the rest towards buying physical education equipment for his school.
“We use it a lot for sport, no matter what we are doing,” Dylan said.
Last year he raised nearly $1100 and was glad to have garnered more this time.
Dylan said he accomplished this by “going to a lot of people’s houses” and asking them to sponsor him in a 3.3 kilometre fun run at the golf course.
He thanked the public for all their support.
