Turn fantasy into reality TV

Have you ever daydreamed about swapping your wife or changing families? Soon it might become a reality.
The hit reality television show “Wife Swap” is coming to Australia and they are looking for local couples to take part.
The producers are after a broad spectrum of families and are eager to see an outback or cattle station family represented.
General Manager of Lifestyle Channels, Nicole Sheffield, said the show will give a different insight into the Australian home.
“From white collar privileged households to domestic neat freaks and self described super nannies - no parenting, family, diet, racial or socio-economic stone will go unturned,” she said.
“We’ll see Australian families through fresh eyes. It will be fascinating and heart-warming viewing.”
The BAFTA-award winning series has been produced in the UK and US for eight years and the format has been sold around the world.
The series sees sparks fly as two wives from radically different families swap places for a week.
It’s not just the wives that need to get used to a new family; the husbands and children have to adapt to new house routines.
The show gets to the heart of choices made every day like how money is spent, child care, cooking, cleaning and shopping duties. It will also look at attitudes to parenting, socialising, food and exercise.
The producers are looking for wives, husbands and children with a sense of humour. Couples need to be married, de facto or living together, and there must be at least one child living at home.
