The city’s best junior football teams will vie for September glory on Sunday as the Broken Hill Junior Football League holds its grand final day.

The day will begin with North taking on South in the Under 12 final at 10am. The game is shaping as the match of the day, and North will be keen to make a statement after losing to the Roos last time the teams met.

North will then battle West in the Under 14 final at 11.40am, and the Bulldogs will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten record and take home the flag.

The Under 16 grand final will be the final match of the day at 1.30pm, and again North will square off against West.

The clubs have had an absorbing rivalry throughout the 2011 season, and both teams will be hungry to claim the premiership.

All games will be played at the Jubilee Oval, and canteen facilities will be available.
