A jewellery-making workshop is returning by popular demand to the Regional Art Gallery on Saturday.

The polymer clay workshop, run by local artist Wendy Moore, follows the success of her two workshops last month.

It will run from 10am to 5pm and costs $110 or $100 for concessions and gallery members.

The materials to make the jewellery will be available and participants will be shown how to make a “Bodacious Bangle” to take home.

Ms Moore said that the workshop was suitable for beginners right through to more advanced artists.

“I get excited that people who didn’t think they were that creative can go home and be wearing something lovely,” Ms Moore said.

“It’s a good place to start to get confident about the materials.

“I love the jewellery. I think polymer clay is a really interesting medium to work with.”

Ms Moore has more than 20 years’ experience in using polymer clay and twice a year she returns to Nepal, where she and her husband once lived, to teach women how to make jewellery to sell.
