‘Drug lab’ found in shed

A suspected drug laboratory was allegedly found by police when they conducted a search of a home in Lane Lane on Wednesday.
Acting on information from the public, police executed a search warrant on the house about 7.50pm with the help of the fire brigade.
They gained entry through a large gate and went into a large shed where, police said, they found a motorcycle that was recently reported stolen along with other items suspected of being stolen, including tools.
Police said they also located glassware, chemicals and other paraphernalia which they suspected of being used in the manufacture of prohibited drugs.
A spokesman said the items would be transported to Sydney for testing and could result in charges being laid.
Police said the occupant of the home, who was not present at the time of the search, was yet to be spoken to by officers.
