Taylea Keenan is taking her shot at modelling, with a little help from her friends. The 19-year-old local has submitted a photos of herself to the Ralph men's magazine, and has been selected to appear in the "Who Should Ralph Shoot?" feature. Each month readers vote for their favourite girl.
The winner is flown to Sydney and given a free photo shoot and featured in a spread in the next issue. Taylea will be in Ralph's September edition. While winning would mean a professional photo shoot and the start of her modelling portfolio, Taylea is in it for the fun.
She gathered a group of friends together to take photos to send to Ralph. "It was so much fun. I was with good friends and I was really comfortable. We played around with the background and the look and had fun with it," said Taylea. "I'd love to go over to Sydney and have a big photo shoot. That's every girl's dream. I'd love for everyone to vote for me so I could do it all again." Appearing in Ralph could be a way to break into the industry, Taylea said. "It's a start. It's something I can get out and do, and there's a lot more I'd like to do. That would be pretty cool. "I won't be heartbroken if I don't get it. It wouldn't be the end of the world, but it'd be fun," she said.
