Passenger numbers on Regional Express’s Adelaide and Sydney services continue to grow. City Council figures show that more than 5,500 passengers flew with Rex in May - a record for the local airport.
The figure represented an 11 per cent increase over the same period last year.
A report to Council said the May figure demonstrated the continued growth in passenger numbers in both Adelaide and Sydney services.
Over 10,000 more passengers used the airline between July and May compared to the previous year, according to the report.
