She finished her final exam earlier this month and is about to receive the ultimate school-leavers reward.
Not long after finishing her school year, basketball rising star and former BH High student Hannah Morris will jet off to the United States to play the sport she loves.
The teenager will fly to the US on Monday, November 21 for a 19-day basketball tour across California and North Carolina after scoring the chance to represent South Australia in its bi-yearly Country High Performance tour.
Talent scouts will keep a close eye on the BH girl when she faces off against high school teams in both states.
Morris said her selection was based on her strong commitment to SA basketball.
“It’s just a major experience and it’s an opportunity to travel and play a sport I love,” she said.
“I’ve been over there in 2009 with local girl Claudia Paul which helped me out a lot.
“We got to go to NBA games and Disneyland.”
However this time, NBA games will be out of the question following the cancellation of more than 100 regular season games because the players association and team owners couldn’t come to an agreement over salaries.
“But we will go to some college basketball games and a hockey game.”
Morris will return to the country on December 10.
