Essential Energy has recognised staff that have served the company for more than 10 years throughout NSW.
The dedicated group has accumulated close to 10,000 years of service with the regional electricity network provider.
Managing director, Terri Benson, said 474 employees were celebrating 10 to 55 year anniversaries, including three employees who had accrued a combined 55 years’ service.
“These long service award recipients have given so much to the business, the energy industry and their local communities through their outstanding efforts, dedication and expertise,” Terri said.
Essential Energy’s longest serving employees in Broken Hill recognised this year were Murray Jones, Paul Bessell, and Joe Pompeo with 35 years of service, and Louise Schipanski, Janet McKee and Rod Jinks with 30 years.
Kym Ferguson, Mark Lenton and Adrian Ray were also recognised for 25 years of service.
“Their depth of knowledge and experience is shared with other employees and has helped position Essential Energy as a leading employer and essential services provider in regional NSW,” Terri said.
Essential Energy employs around 4,600 people at 147 depots and service centres, eight regional offices and business centres in Newcastle and Sydney.
