The BH Philharmonic Choir will this weekend present its Christmas concert and carols sing-along at the Musicians’ Club.

“Deck the Halls” will be the choir’s 221st concert and it will be given at the club at 3pm on Sunday in the auditorium.

The guest soloists will be Andrew Harris and his parents, Marilyn and John, who will sing a duet.

They will be followed by club soloists Lorraine McIntyre singing “Treasured”, Diane Cotterill will lead the choir in “O Holy Night” and Anna Canillas will perform a comedy piece, “Surabaya Santa”.

A recitation of “When Christmas Came to Chapple Street” will be presented by Betty Pearson and the young singing students will perform a selection of carols.

The Ladies and Men’s ensembles and the full choir will also present their pieces and then a Christmas carols sing-along will round the concert off.

The choir’s raffle will also be drawn and there will be a door prize and spot prizes.

Tickets cost $12 for adults, $9 concessions and $6 for children. The tickets will be available at the door.
