With the St Pat’s Fashion Parade on tonight you would be well advised to snap up the few remaining tickets, according to organisers.Fashion Parade Co-ordinator, Dana Farcich, said there were just over a dozen tickets left for the ever-popular show.

As always, a lot of effort has gone into making everything come together on the night.

Mrs Farcich said she and Shelly Hayes, who designed the props, had been working steadily for three weeks “into the early hours of the morning” to make something extra special.

“The props are very colourful and we try to base it on themes.”

To find out just what they are you will have to come along tonight (we’re not giving anything away).

But there will be music, models, singers and dancers from the Silver City Dance Academy and 16 of the city’s fashion houses will showcase their range of race wear.

A light supper and cakes will also be provided and the bar will be open.

Tickets cost $25 and are available at the St Pat’s Race Club in Crystal Street. Doors open at the Civic Centre at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
