Mothers and grandmothers of Sacred Heart Parish Primary School students were treated yesterday to a morning tea for Mothers Day.

The school’s hall was packed with students and guests in what the Chairman of the Parent Group Committee, Amanda Murray, said was a very successful event.

“We’re just having a Mothers Day morning tea for all mums and caregivers, nans and babysitters,” Mrs Murray said.

“We were selling raffle tickets at the door for nine door prizes. They’ve been donated by families and businesses.”

Mothers Day will be celebrated on Sunday.
