To keep the school holidays interesting, the local Library has been hosting craft days.

They have run Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.

Library co-ordinator, Cheryl Smith said on Wednesday kids in the craft group worked on collages and montages.

"Over the last two weeks we have had about 200 children attend the craft sessions," Ms Smith said.

"They are really popular. The kids are absolutely loving it - the craft has been a hit."

Ms Smith said they were getting lots of children coming through.

"We are getting different children every time, it was good to see," she said.

"We have tried to vary what we have done."

The last session is being held today and they will focus around two books.

"The Very Hungry Caterpillar and the Bad Tempered Ladybird," she said.
