The Central Football Club’s women’s team is hosting a “pink” day today for the McGrath Foundation.

The girls will be wearing pink shorts for the occasion and holding a cake stall, lolly guessing competition, donation tins and a number of other things.

Marcia Millsteed said the team decided to do this because they missed out on Pink Day earlier in the year.

“We wanted to do something to fundraise, so another player organised all the shorts,” Marcia said. “All the money raised will go back to the McGrath Foundation.”

There will also be a Pink Night at the club after the games.

“Everybody is welcome. The club opens at about 6.30pm,” Marcia said.
