Minotaur Exploration will spend $700,000 looking for iron ore at its Border Joint Venture project, found 30 kilometres from Broken Hill.
The company announced the base metal exploration program yesterday. It will be undertaken in conjunction with Sumitomo Metal Mining Oceania. The Border Joint Venture is located 30 kilometres southwest of Broken Hill and straddles the SA/NSW border. Minotaur previously found anomalies at nine sites through an aerial survey. The company will now investigate on the ground and subsequently prioritise drill testing.
