The Toy Library will hold its big annual fundraising fete this Saturday.

The Toy Library is a not-for-profit organisation and it needs the support of locals to help keep it running. Naomi Pickering, the president of the Toy Library, is inviting everyone to come and support them. "It starts at 10am and goes until 3pm," she said. "There will be a barbecue as well as morning tea and cake stalls." A car boot sale will be held, Mother's Day gifts will be on offer, and there will be lucky dips and crafts. Children will also be provided for with a "kiddies corner" with face painting, tattoos, pony rides and plaster mould painting. The fete is being held at the Toy Library in Piper Street. "It should be a good day," said Mrs Pickering. If anyone wishes to book a site for the car boot sale they may contact the Toy Library on 8088 5724.
