A motorist who was pulled over for a random breath test on Monday night was found with a stolen credit card on her, police said yesterday.
The 30-year-old Victorian woman was driving in Silver Street when she was stopped by police about 10.55pm.
She tested positive and was arrested and taken to the police station where a breath analysis gave a reading of 0.094.
Officers also searched the woman and allegedly found a credit card that had been reported stolen from a tourist staying at the White Cliffs caravan park.
She was charged with mid range PCA and having stolen goods in custody. Her driver’s licence was also suspended.
Meanwhile, a 26-year-old disqualified driver will also have to face court after he was caught behind the wheel near the corner of Argent Street and
Menindee Road on Monday night.
Police said another man was also caught drink driving in Piper Street shortly before 1am yesterday. The 30-year-old was charged with mid range
PCA and he will appear before the Local Court at a later date.
