Night in with active twist
Wednesday, 6th November, 2013
The instructors at the Temple of Fitness are holding a “Girls Night In” - with a pink twist.
Every Cancer Council asks women across Australia to hold a “Girls Night In” to catch up with the girls, have fun and raise funds for women’s cancers.
This year, the Temple of Fitness will host a Girls Night In for one of their exercise classes.
Instructor Cheryl Day said the event is being held on Friday, November 8.
“We will use our “Sh’Bam” class to host the event,” Cheryl said.
Sh’Bam is a fun dance class that runs for 45 minutes.
“It will run from 6pm, at the Temple of Fitness in Crystal Street,” Cheryl said.
“We won’t charge a fee for the class, but we are asking for a $5 donation.
“All the money raised will go directly back to the Cancer Council.”
Cheryl said afterwards there will be nibbles and drinks.
“You don’t have to be able to dance, or have any skills,” she said.
“As it’s a Girls Night In, we would like to see as many girls as possible attend - bring your mum, sisters and friends.
“All ages are welcome, you can even bring your children along.”
Cheryl encouraged those who attend to wear pink.
“We will have giveaways throughout the night,” she said.
“Just come out and have some fun.”
Their goal is to raise $600.
