The Silver City Swim Club is urging everyone in Broken Hill to log-on to Facebook to help get the club over the line in an online competition.
The club is one of three finalists in the Legendairy Milk Moment Competition run by Swimming Australia as part of Go Swim month.
The SCSC was chosen after sending in a selection of photos featuring the best poolside “milk moustache”.
“We just took a whole heap of shots one afternoon and then sent off the best eight,” club representative Angela Oldsen said.
A photo of junior club members Sienna Speechley and Kalyce Pressler was the pick of the bunch.
It will be uploaded to the Swimming Australia Facebook page at midday today.
The public will then be asked to show their support for their favourite image.
The photo with the most clicks on the ‘LIKE’ button will win a visit from an Australian Swim Team Member and an Australian Institute of Sport nutritionist.
“We’re pretty excited, that’s for sure,” Mrs Oldsen said.
“Our goal is to get everyone behind it.
“I’ve been ringing and emailing and talking to as many people as possible.
“We have Swimming South Australia sending out emails as well as schools around here and also the Council.”
The voting is open for 24 hours with the most popular image winning the prize.
How to vote:
1. Go to the Swimming Australia Facebook page www.facebook.com/SwimmingAustralia between midday today and midday tomorrow.
2. Find the photo of Sienna and Kalyce and click ‘LIKE’ to register your support.
