The residents of Catherine Haven Women’s Shelter have the Rotary Club of Broken Hill to thank for a very generous and timely gift.

The club has donated three new air conditioners to the Salvation Army’s crisis housing units in Wolfram Street.

John Coffey, President of the BH Rotary Club, said the funds were raised from activities and support from the local community and that the donation was the club’s major project for 2013/14.
