Sixteen carrot necklace and other high fashion

Harold Williams Home hosted a fashion parade with an Aussie twist, yesterday. Activities officer Fiona Dart said they wanted to do something different and comical to entertain the residents.
“We invited friends and family of the residents to come out and share the day with us,” Ms Dart said. “
The idea started when we were looking at fashion ideas on the internet. “We were trying to do something original and different, we then adapted it to us.”
The fashion parade included some very literal handmade loafers, a print dress, “bag”-gy pants, a ball dress, a 16 carrot necklace, a wide-brim hat, a “house” dress and a wedding dress with a long train.
“Everyone was very willing to take part and the residents enjoyed themselves,” Ms Dart said.
