There will be sharpshooters and shining lights at Burke Ward this week as the school holds its twilight continental fete.

The event will feature a variety of fun activities and stalls, such as laser tag, sideshow alley, craft displays, and a selection of “glo” products.

There will also be plenty of food with cakes, yiros, spuds, pancakes, curry and much more available.

The fete has been organised by Janine Brown and Kerri Johnstone, who predicted a day full of excitement for young and old.

“It’s all coming along very nicely, it should be a great day of fun for all the kids and their families,” said Kerri.

The event will begin at 4pm tomorrow with a student dancing performance. All money raised from the fete goes back to assist with the education of Burke Ward students.
