Would your mum like a new piece of jewellery for Mothers’ Day, or maybe she’d prefer some homemade jam?
Mothers’ Day will be held on May 11 but don’t worry - the Broken Hill Cake Decorators has your gift covered.
For the first time in years, the Cake Decorators will hold a Mothers’ Day stall following the overwhelming success of their Christmas stall in the Town Hall Facade.
“There’s lots of different knick-knacks, aprons and scarves and cards,” Cake Decorators member Vicki Sladden said. “We’ve even got some paintings.”
The stall will also feature a range of homemade cakes, biscuits and pasties, pottery, patchwork and silk ribbon embroidery.
Mrs Sladden said that the stall, from Monday May 5 until Saturday May 10, would help fund public workshops later this year.
It will be held in the Town Hall Facade from 10am to 4pm from Monday to Friday next week.
And, for those who’ve left it until the last minute, from 9.30am until 12pm on Saturday May 10.
