The Community Market is growing more popular by the month. The Community Market is growing more popular by the month.

It’s that time again ... the BH Community Market is on this weekend, just in time for Mother’s Day.

Stall holder Serenity Mann said it is set to be a fantastic day out tomorrow and a real showcase of local products.

“It is the day before Mother’s Day and the market organisers are making it a one-stop shop for your presents this year with beautiful plants, handmade cards, delicious cupcakes, local olives, sweet chocolate, handmade jewellery to suit any age,” Ms Mann said.

“We also have candles ranging from soy melts to bees wax candles, linen, Aboriginal artwork, lamps, jams, water colours, hand-painted signs, aprons, cushions and gift baskets.”

She said people can also pick up a little treat for the kids with lucky dips, toys, temporary tattoos, cupcakes, hair accessories and jewellery available from the many stalls booked.

“As of Thursday afternoon the amount of bookings stand at 38 stalls, with potential for a few more.

“Local musicians will be performing for a spot of entertainment while you can have a bite to eat of warming soup, spring rolls, sausage sizzle or a barbecue, egg and bacon roll, among other food stalls.”

Ms Mann said an exciting new stall holder at the market will be “Pace Vending machines”.

“There will be a unique trailer set up that houses classic arcade machines,” she said.

“With games like Pacman on these machines it is sure to be of interest to those who grew up playing the games and a great way to introduce young ones to the classic games of the past.

“To top off the experience you can grab a bag of fairy floss.”

Other new stalls include Mexican jewellery, linen, bees wax candles, The Cheeky Fox (children’s clothing) and bric a brac.
