Broken Hill artist Boris Hlavica is looking for a small group of photography enthusiasts to participate in a three day workshop.

Participants will stay at the shearing quarters at the picturesque Mount Gipps Station, 50km north of BH.

Mr Hlavica is a local photographer who moved to the city after a stint working in Melbourne.

“I’ve been coming here since the 1990’s because I love the country,” he said.

The workshop will include experimenting with light during sunrise, sunset and night sessions, as well as exploring the technical elements of photography.

Guests are preferred to have their own DSLR camera and accessories as well as photo editing software.

The workshop will be held from the 14-16 of June and is priced at $420 including accommodation, Sunset Tour and Corona Station entry donation.
