Local performers have until Friday to get their nominations in for the 45th annual Broken Hill Eisteddfod.

Publicity Officer Merrilyn Podnar said the wide variety of disciplines available would suit all ages and skill levels.

“There really is something for everyone,” she said.

Ms Podnar said the event typically appealed to school children who benefited from the public opportunity to demonstrate their skills.

“It’s somewhere for them to perform and gives them confidence,” she said.

BH Eisteddfod Society Members will be taking nominations at BH Music on Oxide Street on Friday from 10am to 5pm.

Alternatively, entries can be sent to PO Box 508, Broken Hill 2880 by Friday, June 20.

This year’s schedule is also available from BH Music, the South Newsagency and the BH Library.

The 2014 Eisteddfod will run from August 23 to 30 and more information is available at www.bheisteddfod.webs.com
