The year’s end marks the finish of the Kart racing calendar, and local team Double A Motorsports have plenty of reasons to reflect on their season.

The team’s drivers Aidan and Adam Slattery have had a stellar year in 2014, winning more than 10 events over the season which saw them competing throughout NSW, SA and Victoria.

“We are very proud to have come away from the years racing with event wins, three pole positions and we have re-set two lap records,” said a team spokesperson.

Adam also finished the year as the number two Cadet racer in South Australia, and Club Champion of the Barossa Kart Club.

“It has been a major effort to travel to the events with 90 per cent of all race meetings attended being outside of Broken Hill.

“With the 2014 season now over we are now gearing up for an even bigger year in 2015 competing in the new Pro Tour and Australian Championship series throughout Queensland, NSW, Victoria and SA.

“None of this would be possible without the unbelievable support we receive from family especially their grandfather and uncle who travel to every race, friends, Omega Karts and A1 Engines.”

Aidan and Adam also wished to thank Steve Radford and the CMC team for their special support throughout the year.
