The 2015 AFL Broken Hill fixture has been released and ANZAC Day is set to be action-packed.

With ANZAC Day falling on Saturday, there will be two A-grade matches scheduled for the enormous day.

At 1pm at the Jubilee Oval, West will take on Central before South and North do battle at 3.30 in the Grand Final re-match.

To mark the 100th anniversary of the Anzacs, AFL Broken Hill has said there will be a big day planned to mark the occasion.

There will also be another double header at the Jube to kick off the season with the B-Grade playing matches on the Friday night before.

The Women’s competition, along with the Under 13s and 15s, will commence on Saturday, April 18, with the mid week Under 18s starting their season on Wednesday on April 22.

On May 24, the Miner’s Cup will be played at Adelaide Oval as a curtain raiser to the Port Adelaide versus Richmond match.

On the same weekend, the Broken Hill Juniors will head to Sunraysia for an 11s, 13s and 15s tournament.

One of the outcomes from a recent Planning Day with the clubs was the agreement to play all five finals on the same day.

Grand finals for the 13s, 15s, Women, Reserves and Seniors will all be played on September 5.

There are only four weeks to go until the season commences with the Lightning Cup on Saturday March 28.

Players can register at www.aflbrokenhill.com.au for the 2015 season or speak with their clubs for assistance.

Despite hosting two games of cricket and two evenings of softball each week, the Jubilee Oval is holding up well and will be ready for another big year of football.

The Auskick draw will be released in the next few weeks, along with details of the Registration Day, to be held at the Jube.

The AGM for AFL Broken Hill will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, March 3 to ratify elected officials, pass the audited 2014 financials and for clubs to vote on some minor bylaw changes.
