Bookies name favourite, but who’s yours?

As the State election approaches plenty of locals have been getting in early for pre-poll voting.
Support staff, volunteers and even the candidates themselves have been in the Argent Street pre-poll office handing out information to help voters make up their minds.
But it seems the bookies are fairly certain of the outcome, with Crownbet predicting a ‘lay down misere’ in Barwon and at State level.
A Coalition victory in NSW is paying just $1.05, with Labor way out at $10.
There is further disparity in two-party figures when it comes to the electorate of Barwon, with Nationals’ Kevin Humphries at $1.02, while Labor’s Craig Ashby’s odds have blown out to $23.
Those who fancy Rohan Boehm’s chances as an independent may be want to check out SportsBet, which puts has him paying $11.
Meanwhile, Bookmaker Tom Waterhouse is offering $13 for all candidates other than Ashby and Humphries.
There will be seven polling places open in Broken Hill on Saturday between 8am and 6pm for the election.
You can lodge their vote at the PCYC, North Mine Hall, Morgan Street School, Alma School, Burke Ward School, and the Aged Persons’ Rest Centre in Blende Street.
