Roll up, roll up - the Great Loritz Circus is in town!

The Great Loritz Circus has acts to astound you, with the Russian Swing, world-renowned trampoline artists, motorcycling cage riders, juggling clowns and performers from other circuses like the famous Ringling Brothers.

There are no caged or exotic animals in this circus, although there will be pony rides out the front.

Spokeswoman for the Circus, Georgie Fogarty, said they had been in Australia since 2010.

“The circus has come over from New Zealand but the owners are based in Australia,” Georgie said.

“This will be the second time the circus has been in Broken Hill, but this time we will be showing a totally new production.

“We’ve got everything you could want in a circus.”

They will be performing 12 shows in total until Sunday, May 10.

“The best thing about coming to the country is the response we get,” Georgie said.

“It’s been fantastic. Because the town doesn’t always get things like the circus, our response has been overwhelming.”

It opened last night and they are hoping for a successful two weeks.

“We will do shows at 2pm, 4pm and 7pm on various nights,” Georgie said.

“Hopefully, everyone will come out.”

Prices start at $18 for children and $25 for adults for B reserve seating.

Tickets are available at the Memorial Oval or ring 0439 247 287.
