Crunchy and Munchie are a set of female guinea pigs who have been living at the RSPCA Shelter since December.

The young adult guinea pigs are fully grown and are in need of a good home.

Shelter Manager Merridy Wall said the pair needed a nice home.

“They have been here since December 22,” she said.

She said they need attention that can’t always be given at the shelter.

“They would be a great addition to any family,” Ms Wall said.

“They are $20 each or two for $30. It would be nice to keep them together.”

Crunchy and Munchie are very placid and need a good diet of vegetables and guinea pig mix.

They also need a cage in the sun.

“We will provide all the information needed to look after them,” Ms Wall said.

“They can be handled and live between five to 10 years.”
