West loses key players

When the cricket season resumes in a week’s time, West will be missing two vital players in their line-up.
Andrew Henry and Christian Minett - two prolific run scorers for the Robins so far this season - have left the city for bigger and better things.
Minett has moved to Sydney for work and Henry will move to London.
The pair has scored a total of 275 runs between them and they have been consistent performers with the bat.
For Henry, his move to London will be a big step in his life.
“It’s something I’ve had planned for a little while,” he said.
“The partner and I wanted to have a bit of an adventure; it’ll confirm that the other side of the world exists!
“I’ve lived in Broken Hill my whole life, so it’s pretty big.
“We’ll go over there and with a bit of luck, I’ll land on my feet and we’ll see how we go.”
For Minett, his move back home to Sydney has him feeling a bit disappointed about leaving his side while it’s in such a good position.
West sit strongly in second place having defeated the league leaders in Central once already.
“It is disappointing that Andrew and I are leaving when we are,” he said.
“The boys have been playing really good this season.
“But it’ll open the door for maybe some juniors to jump into the team.”
As the season gets ready to recommence, Minett says West are in with a good chance to take out the premiership.
“I think, on the whole, we just need to be a bit more consistent with our bowling.
“Wicket-taking is the missing piece of the puzzle.
“We have been able to score plenty of runs and if we can start taking more wickets, the boys could get the win.”
