Adelaide Crows’ football player Taylor Walker may be living out of the city, but soon his face will appear on the side of a wall.

Bernels Fish Shop is brightening up the side wall of their business by putting up a mural of Taylor Walker and a couple of his mates.

Walker will go up alongside fellow Crows’ players Eddie Betts and Rory Sloane.

Owner of the fish shop, Debbie Hinton said she asked her brother-in-law John to do the painting.

John also painted the mural on the side of the Excelsior Seafood shop.

These murals are just a few that have gone up around the city in the past months.

“It really brightens up the shop and it’s better than having graffiti on it,” Debbie said.

“We’ve been thinking about doing it for a long time.

“We’re leasing the building and had to ask permission from the owner.”

Once they got permission, they had to think of a design.

“I thought it would be a nice way to recognise Taylor Walker,” Debbie said.

“It just adds colour. A lot of people have been stopping to look at it and take pictures.”

The mural is on the Mica Street side of the building.
