Two people were trapped inside a car yesterday morning after it rolled on the Barrier Highway about 40km east of Broken Hill.

Three people were inside the vehicle when the single-car crash happened about 9am.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and worked to free the trapped occupants.

They were all being treated at the Broken Hill hospital yesterday.

A man, 36, was still in a “serious condition” yesterday afternoon, while the other two - a man, 41, and a woman, 27 - were stable.

Police were yesterday investigating the cause of the crash.
