Last but not least is a saying that captures the essence of three little puppies at the RSCPA.
Mastiff-mix ‘Betty-Jo’, Bull Arab cross beagle ‘Cloud’ and terrier mix ‘Katja’ were all surrendered to the local RSPCA shelter with big litters and all of their siblings have found homes.
“Betty-Jo came with a litter of five,” the RSPCA’s Briony Wonson said.
“Cloud came with a litter of seven and Katja with a litter of five - they are all the last ones left.”
Briony said Betty-Jo is very placid for a big puppy.
“She is learning very quickly and just wants some love and attention.
“Betty-Jo and Cloud are extra large breeds and will need lots of exercise, training and socialising.
“Cloud is very friendly and is good with other dogs.
“Cloud can sit, shake and roll over.”
Briony said Katja will remain small and will be a good puppy for companionship.
“She is very placid and is good with little pups; she just craves human contact.”
She said the puppies were all microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas and ticks.
The RSPCA has lots of puppies, kittens, dogs and cats.
“We had about four litters of puppies in one hit,” Briony said.
“The shelter is full, come and have a look if you are interested in a pet.”
