Local basketball coach Grahame Semmens has once again been recognised as one of the best in SA Country.
He was recently appointed to coach one of the SA Country Under 14 boys’ teams at the Australian Junior Country Cup in January in Albury.
Grahame is the current SA Country Development Network Squad Program coach for Broken Hill and at the recent AGM for the BH Basketball Association was also elected to the position of Director of Coaching.
“This is my 10th year coaching at the State Level and I’m looking forward to the new challenge of coaching boys, whereas I have in the past always coached girls.
“The benefits I see for myself and for basketball in Broken Hill is that you get to bring back new approaches to coaching and see how others do things differently,” Grahame said.
