Jatz Crackers ... four men who love their music. Jatz Crackers ... four men who love their music.

By Emily Ferguson

The Jatz Crackers will be performing in Broken Hill for the first time this weekend at the Musicians’ Club.

The Mildura band consists of four men who came together four years ago through their love of “good music, good vibes and good times.” The band members include Nick Faulkhead, Bryce Yarrington, Bob Dobricic and Richard Baker.

When asked what kind of music they play, lead singer Nick Faulkhead said “not normal pub rock songs, we steer clear of the typical pub rock songs - try to do something different.” He described the genre as modern party rock, which is something to look forward to.

The band usually perform every second weekend throughout the year and have performed Red Cliffs and the Riverland, although they have never travelled as far as Broken Hill before.

“We’re really looking forward to playing somewhere different and bringing our shenanigans to a new place,” said Mr Faulkhead.

The Jatz Crackers’ show is free so head down to the Musos’ on Friday and Saturday nights.
