With the school holidays upon us, the YMCA is again providing relief with its Autumn Vacation Care at Burke Ward Public School.

YMCA’s Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinator, Ange Trembath, said the service has an action-packed two weeks planned.

“We learnt a lot from our first holiday program in January and have taken on board all of the feedback from the children,” Ms Trembath said.

“We’ve got everything from a pyjama day to a wildlife presentation and we will even learn how to create balloon animals.”

The cost is $45 per day before any Child Care Rebates or Benefits.

“Last school holidays most of our families were paying an average of $10 and $20 per day of care,” Ms Trembath said.

The program is open to all school children and will run from 7am to 6pm.

“Our online enrolment process and app management system makes it simple for families to book in and change their dates if they need.”
